This page is meant to accompany the manuscript "An Extensible Framework for Probabilistic Search of Stochastic Targets Characterized by Generalized Gaussian Distributions or Experimentally-defined Regions of Interest". The animations serve as supplementary material to provide context to many of the figures in the manuscript that were sourced from said animations. All code for the animations can be found at this Github repo.
The below video is a short tutorial demonstrating the formulation and features of the Generalized Gaussian Distribution, both with and without anisotropic flatness.
Relaxation Advection Figures 13 and 14 are derived from the left and right animations, respectively.
Figures 15, 16, and 17 are derived from the left, middle, and right animations, respectively.
Non-evasive search The top, middle, and bottom subfigures of Figure 18 are derived from the top, middle, and bottom animations, respectively.
